Pre-Construction Planning-SWPPP

For any project to achieve water quality and provide general compliance with the State, it is a must to start out with a good site assessment and a detailed approach to implement a storm water plan.

When changing site parameters you may be required to re-analyze your Risk level and update the storm water plan(s) accordingly. SWPPP’s will be re-uploaded to the States computer via the SMARTs system and certified. Sites that are non-active should analyze if Termination is the best option prior to this time period. STECI has the resources and qualifications to meet your needs.

Site Storm Water Management

Regardless of your Risk Level or Type – 1,2,or 3 the CGP requires weekly site inspections, and or other site monitoring documentation. STECI has the qualifications to provide these services.

Our team members are Certified Erosion Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and Certified Inspectors of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC) certified to handle your storm water needs. In addition, Scott holds a ToR for the state of CA for the QSD/QSP training certification.

QSD/QSP Training Info

To be certified as a QSP or QSD you are required to attend the States 2 or 3-day certification class respectively. This class provides one of the two requirements to qualify you as a QSP or QSD.

STECI has the qualifications to provide this 2 or 3 day certification class— however, professional registration and/or CPESC, CPSWQ, NICET, CESSWI or CISEC will be the second requirement to obtain the certification and STECI can direct you to where to obtain those services.
