STECI, Certified CGP Trainer of Record (ToR) is happy to provide both the 2-Day QSP training as well as the 3-Day QSD training. The course meets the training requirements of the California State Water Resource Control Board approved training course as defined by CASQA.
It includes an in depth review of the 2009 Construction General Permit, with emphasis on Regulations, Erosion Processes, SWPPP Implementation, Monitoring, Reporting, Project Planning, Site Assessment, SWPPP Development, and Project Closeout. This course is a prerequisite for taking the State required, QSP, QSD exam, however we recommend anyone in the business wishing to gain additional knowledge to attend.

Students who have taken our course or other ToR course and wish to take the State Exam—DO NOT have to currently hold required outlying CGP credentials ie. CPESC, CESSWI, CISEC, PE…to take the State Exam! This is for both the QSP or QSD roles. Please NOTE—exam is provided by the Sacramento State-Office of Water Programs (OWP), on line—see OWP registration page
